- The main tasks of the department are to help students, as qualified specialists, understand the essence of the socio-economic, political, spiritual, and cultural tasks being implemented in the process of strengthening our country's independence, as well as to explain the ethical foundations of preparing future specialists for independent work, logical thinking, leadership skills, finding a worthy place in life, determining their own destiny, confidence in the future, and understanding that the great future of the country is linked to its achievements.

- The department has been tasked with the following responsibilities to further improve and enhance the effectiveness of the educational and upbringing process at the branch:
- “Maʼnaviy-maʼrifiy” tizimga rahbarlik qilish, bu sohada olib boriladigan ishlarni muvofiqlashtirish;
- Preparing and publishing necessary scientific-methodological literature on spiritual-educational issues, utilizing advanced experiences;
- Organizing training for all sector employees;
- Organizing various clubs, sports, community clubs, meetings, and broadly explaining to students respect for universal values, historical traditions, love for the homeland, loyalty to independence ideals, the spirit of independence, and our achievements in the field of spirituality;
- Training highly qualified specialists who meet the demands of the new era, raising individuals who are spiritually-culturally, morally-spiritually, and physically well-rounded, and loyal to the homeland and the people;
- Continuously improving the management system in the spiritual-educational upbringing process;
- Developing plans and programs for spiritual-educational work and monitoring their implementation;
- Timely communicating and organizing the implementation of the decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers, orders and information from the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as tasks specified in the Law 'On Education' and the 'National Program for Personnel Training' to students, mentors, and professors;
